Accounts & Finance Executive

About the Role We are looking for an Accounts & Finance Executive to join our team and take ownership of day-to-day accounting and finance operations. This role is suitable for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented and confident in managing accounting tasks independently, while also supporting management with accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Handle full set of accounts and day-to-day accounting operations. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) . Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliation and investigate discrepancies. Prepare payments, journal entries and accounting adjustments. Assist with month-end closing and ensure accounts are properly updated. Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, including Excel reports and graphs for management review. Assist with basic management reporting and financial analysis. Assist with tax calculations and preparation of relevant tax documents. Handle payroll-related accounting and statutory matters when required. Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, including PCB/MTD, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, SST and basic LHDN requirements . Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and other external parties and provide requested documents and information. Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation. Identify, investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies independently. Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field . 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience , preferably with experience handling a full set of accounts. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, particularly for preparing reports, calculations and graphs. Comfortable learning and using accounting and payroll systems. Experience with Bukku and PayrollPanda will be an added advantage. Good understanding of Malaysian accounting and statutory requirements. Familiar with tax calculations and basic LHDN requirements. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when investigating discrepancies. Good communication skills and comfortable dealing with internal and external parties. Why Join Us?
