1. Financial Management & Reporting Prepare and review monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports. Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to Business Unit Heads. Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast and explain significant variances. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to Business Unit Head. Prepare Quarterly Financial Performance Slide Pack and work closely with Business Unit Head for Quarterly Business Review Slide Pack for presentation to Senior Management. 2. Budgeting & Forecasting Prepare annual budgeting. Work closely with Business Head to establish budgets and KPIs. Monitor budget utilisation and identify potential cost overruns. 3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management Manage the company's cash flow (collection and payment) and working capital. Monitor cash requirements and ensure sufficient funds are available for operations. Liaise with Group’s Treasury Team on financing facilities, loans, guarantees, and other banking matters. Monitor financing costs and optimise the company's funding structure. 4. Accounting & Internal Controls Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing. Ensure accounting records are accurate and maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Improve accounting policies and implement efficient processes and internal control measures. Ensure proper segregation of duties and financial controls. 5. Tax & Statutory Compliance Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, lawyers, and relevant authorities for All Statutory and Regulatory Compliance. Working closely with Group’s Tax Team for All Tax Requirements and Tax Compliance Matters including Corporate Tax, Indirect Taxes, Transfer Pricing and Additional Tax Requirement. Ensure timely submission of Statutory Submission and Tax Return and SST filing. 6. Department Management Strong Collaboration: Works closely with Business Unit Head, Project, operations, and senior leadership to guide financial decisions and support business strategy. Supervise the finance team, including planning, training, performance management, and allocation of resources. Job Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; an MIA member or CPA member is an advantage Minimum 7 years in finance, accounting, or related roles with experience in leadership or management positions. Industry experience in leasing, financial services, or a related sector is preferred. Strong financial analysis and modeling, analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, proficiency in finance software and MS Office, and excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, cash management, risk assessment, compliance regulations, and financial reporting.
