Junior Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer Bulk Earthworks 2:1 Roster 9–12 month project | Strong production focus | Immediate opportunity We are seeking a capable Junior Project Manager or experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team on a major bulk earthworks project. This is a hands-on, site-based role for someone who understands earthworks production, can drive crews and subcontractors, and has the commercial awareness required to keep a project moving safely, efficiently and profitably. The role Working closely with the Project Manager and site leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day project delivery and ensuring production targets, costs, quality and programme requirements are achieved. Key responsibilities will include: Driving bulk earthworks production and daily site performance Coordinating supervisors, crews, plant and subcontractors Monitoring quantities, productivity, costs and project progress Planning upcoming works and resolving site constraints Managing procurement, variations, forecasting and cost reporting Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation Working closely with the client, consultants and internal stakeholders Ensuring safety, environmental and quality requirements are maintained Keeping the team accountable and focused on programme milestones About you You will ideally have: Experience as a Senior Project Engineer, Junior Project Manager or similar Strong bulk earthworks and civil construction experience A practical understanding of plant, crews, production rates and site logistics The confidence to lead from the front and drive site performance Sound commercial understanding, including budgets, forecasting and variations Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment A relevant engineering or construction qualification Australian civil construction experience and full working rights You will be commercially switched on, comfortable making decisions and willing to get out on site to ensure the job is progressing as planned.
