Job Summary The Executive, Group Finance will be responsible for supporting the Group Finance function in the preparation, maintenance, and delivery of accurate and timely financial information and reports. The role will also assist in ensuring compliance with applicable accounting, taxation, SST, and e-Invoicing requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are properly investigated and resolved. Prepare and process monthly routine journals, ensuring accuracy of descriptions, amounts, dates, cost centres, account codes, and other relevant details. Prepare and deliver accurate and timely Management Accounts (MA) reports. Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register, including depreciation calculations for existing and newly acquired assets. Prepare the following month's MA skeleton, including formula linkages for the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and supporting notes to the Trial Balance. Prepare and deliver Debtors and Creditors Aging Reports. Ensure the accuracy of account codes and SST codes, where applicable. Prepare and submit SST returns in accordance with the prescribed requirements and timelines. Assist in the preparation and review of e-Invoicing requirements, including debit notes, credit notes, tax invoices, and relevant supporting documents. Handle monthly stock closing and ensure the accuracy of stock-related accounting entries. Prepare and issue debit notes, credit notes, and tax invoices. Maintain and update monthly Fixed Deposit schedules. Assist the superior in various accounting and financial functions, including taxation, cash flow management, budgeting, and budget monitoring. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Professional Accountancy qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent, or partial professional qualification, will be an added advantage. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to audit and/or group consolidation. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint . Strong attention to detail with good analytical and numerical skills. Honest, responsible, and demonstrates a pleasant and professional personality. Able to work independently with good time management and multitasking skills. Able to work under pressure and willing to work additional hours when required. Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering accurate work. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as a team player. Resourceful, proactive, and able to identify and resolve issues effectively.
