Job Description The Engineering Department Manager is a senior technical leadership role within the Technology Directors division. You will act as the operational technical lead for all BMS projects in Thailand, overseeing design, construction, and quality while building and developing the engineering team. This role is not customer-facing. Your focus is on technical execution, team capability, and operational clarity to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification, and at the highest quality. 1. Technical Leadership & Quality • Own technical delivery across all BMS projects (design, construction, commissioning) • Review and approve designs, system configurations, and construction plans • Lead resolution of technical issues and ensure quality standards 2. Team Management & Development • Manage and grow the engineering team (PMs, Architects, Engineers, Site staff) • Conduct performance reviews and develop team capabilities • Support hiring and onboarding in collaboration with HR 3. Reporting & Operations • Provide weekly technical reports to management • Maintain visibility on schedule, risks, and quality metrics • Escalate issues and drive corrective actions 4. Out of Scope • Client requirement coordination (handled by BizDev/PM team) • Japan-side technical coordination (handled by Director of Technology and Japan PMs) Qualification • Proven experience managing full-lifecycle BMS construction projects • Experience managing a team of 10+ engineers • Design or site management experience with HVAC systems • Work experience outside Thailand, or management role in a multinational company's Thai branch • Good command of English • Team management and local operations in Thai • BMS system planning and design experience (not just installation) • Niagara framework development experience • Network design and administration experience • Wireless network design and deployment experience • IoT device development or operations experience • Experience in subcontractor selection and performance evaluation • Experience building standardized processes for construction management projects • Experience working at or managing projects for Japanese companies • Experience launching a construction management team or subsidiary from the ground up • P&L management experience at company or business unit level (beyond project-level) Benefits • Bonus depending on Performance (Please note that employees may be ineligible for a bonus in the first year of employment.) • Annual salary increases (performance-driven). • Provident Fund (planned to be introduced) • Health Insurance (planned to be introduced) • Social Security Fund • Annual paid leave • Sick Leave
