As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and driven Accountant to join our Account team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and gain broader exposure in Group-level accounting, financial reporting, MFRS consolidation, audit, statutory compliance and financial management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Reporting & Accounting Compile, review and analyse financial information to prepare monthly and annual financial statements . Prepare financial reports and ensure all reporting deadlines are met. Handle and review full set accounts and ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date. Prepare necessary adjusting journal entries for consolidation of domestic subsidiaries in accordance with MFRS . Monitor accounting activities and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Internal Control & Compliance Establish, implement and monitor accounting control procedures. Review accounting processes and recommend improvements where necessary. Oversee the calculation and timely submission of statutory payments in accordance with government regulations. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with statutory and financial requirements. Audit & Stakeholder Management Lead and coordinate the Accounts team in providing support to external auditors during interim reviews and annual audits. Coordinate audit requests and manage the flow of financial information and supporting documentation. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and other relevant parties when required. Team & Management Supervise and provide guidance to the Accounts team to ensure smooth daily operations. Monitor the team's performance and ensure accounting deadlines are achieved. Work closely with the Management team in establishing company policies, financial targets and accounting objectives . Provide financial information and accounting support to Management for decision-making. Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the Management from time to time. REQUIREMENTS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field . Professional qualification such as MIA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent will be an added advantage. Strong experience in handling full set accounts . Good knowledge of MFRS and accounting principles . Strong knowledge of accounting controls, financial reporting and statutory requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint . Good command of Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills. Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
