Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing the full spectrum of accounting and finance matters for the assigned company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Handle the full set of accounts for the assigned company, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports accurately and within the required timelines. Manage daily accounting transactions including checking of staff claims and petty cash claims, payment processing, collections, invoicing, and cash-flow monitoring. Prepare financial analyses, schedules, forecasts, and other reports required by management. Monitor company expenses, budgets, outstanding receivables, and financial performance. Ensure all accounting records and supporting documents are properly maintained and filed. Prepare and submit SST, corporate tax, withholding tax, and other statutory filings, where applicable. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, government authorities, and other relevant parties. Coordinate and support the annual audit, tax computation, and other statutory reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and the company’s internal policies and procedures. Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Assist management with ad hoc financial analyses, assignments, and projects when required. Perform any other finance- and accounting-related duties assigned by management. Qualifications and Requirements Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least 4–5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance, preferably with experience handling a full set of accounts independently. Sound knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, SST, and statutory compliance requirements. Audit experience or experience liaising with auditors and tax agents will be an added advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with AutoCount accounting software. Strong analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight reporting deadlines. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in additional languages would be an advantage in supporting communication with diverse stakeholders. Candidates who are members of, or pursuing membership with, a recognised professional accounting body will have an added advantage. Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues in achieving common goals.
