Senior Account Executive

About the role: As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing the full Accounts Receivable (AR) function and supporting project claim administration, including: Manage customer invoicing, billing, collections, and receivables activities. Prepare and monitor outstanding sales orders and project claim status. Coordinate with Project Managers on project payment milestones and billing schedules on weekly basis. Prepare project claim documentation including notification letters, IPA and IPC. Generate weekly customer aging reports and monthly customer statements. Follow up on overdue accounts and drive timely debt collection. Issue tax invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and official receipts. Upload invoices to customer portals and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Maintain accurate customer reconciliations and collection reports. Monitor collection performance and achieve AR KPIs. Prepare forecast billing, forecast collections, and revenue projections. Support company cash flow management through effective receivables control. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Assist during internal and external audits. Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and operational efficiency. Perform any other duties assigned by management. Requirements: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant professional qualification. Minimum 5 years of working experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Finance. Experience in Project Accounting or Construction Accounting will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of billing, project claims, collection processes, and customer account reconciliation. Proficient in Microsoft Excel familiar with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and so on. Experience using ERP and Accounting Software. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
