Kitchen Designer / Detailer

About the role We are looking to employ an experienced CAD Designer to join our team. This is a full time role encompassing projects from small single cabinets through to multi level apartments and commercial fitouts. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, kitchen and cabinetry designs that meet the needs of our residential and commercial clients, based on simple concept through to full scale architects drawings. Key responsibilities Liaising with staff and clients to understand their design requirements Produce detailed 2D cabinetry designs using CAD software Prepare drawings detailing all materials and finishes showing accurate specifications in line with client specifications Ensure drawings adhere to all relevant appliance specific requirements Provide exceptional customer service throughout the process Work closely with the production and installations teams to ensure seamless delivery Liaise with software supplier to ensure programme is always current with optimal performance About you Proven experience as an Interior Kitchen & Cabinetry designer within the residential and commercial sector Proficiency in using Cabinet Vision CAD software to produce detailed designs Strong understanding of kitchen and cabinetry design principles, materials, construction methods & standards Excellent time management, communication and customer service A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines Effective communication both written and verbal Focus on building working relationships with clients, contractors and staff Able to read architects drawings Prior experience as a cabinetmaker and/or installer would be an advantage About us We have been in the cabinetmaking business for 75+ years.
