Plan and manage all the macroeconomic and banking research in the major industrial economies and its linkages with Malaysia as well as to the Bank including assessing global and domestic development, emerging risks and impact, forecasting trends and outlook as well as leading research to provide the Bank with a better understanding of latest issues affecting growth prospects. Gathering financial and economic data, advising organizations on effective business and financial decisions. Perform modelling exercise related to forecasting. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Banking/Finance/Statistics/Accountancy/Business Administration in other equivalent professional qualification. Working experience in the economic and financial areas of at least 5 years. Experience in assisting Bank’s management in business strategies formulation is an added advantage. Sound theoretical knowledge in macroeconomic policies and concepts particularly in monetary, international and financial economics. Ability to understand macro-financial linkages and its interaction with macro policies and the real economy. Able to produce written output (including research papers) within the stipulated deadline.
