Job Responsibilities: Financial Management & Business Support * Report directly to Management and oversee the company’s overall financial management and business performance. * Establish, implement and enhance finance processes, reporting structures, internal controls and financial policies to support business growth. * Provide financial insights, analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning and business decision-making. * Monitor the company’s financial performance, profitability, cash flow and long-term financial sustainability. * Support new business ventures, company setup and business expansion initiatives from a finance perspective. Financial Reporting & Analysis * Prepare timely monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts and business performance analysis. * Analyse revenue, operating expenses, profitability and financial trends, and recommend improvement initiatives. * Monitor key financial indicators and identify potential risks and opportunities. * Present financial reports and recommendations to Management. Budgeting & Financial Planning * Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts and cash flow projections. * Monitor budget utilisation and recommend corrective actions where necessary. * Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiency. * Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects, investments and business initiatives. Accounting & Financial Control * Oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. * Review monthly closing, financial statements, reconciliations and statutory reports. * Strengthen internal controls, finance procedures and compliance processes. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements. Business Setup & Corporate Support * Lead and coordinate the finance-related setup of new companies, subsidiaries or business entities. * Manage company incorporation matters, finance system implementation and process establishment. * Support the setup of accounting policies, internal controls, banking facilities and financial workflows for new businesses. * Work closely with Management on business restructuring, expansion and corporate finance initiatives. Stakeholder Management & Coordination * Liaise with internal departments and business units on finance-related matters. * Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers and regulatory authorities. * Review financial implications of contracts, commercial agreements and business arrangements. * Support Management in negotiations and financial due diligence when required. Team Leadership & Process Improvement * Lead, mentor and develop the finance team to achieve operational excellence. * Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, reporting systems and automation initiatives. * Ensure timely completion of finance activities and statutory deadlines. * Perform other ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by Management. Job Requirements: * Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent are an advantage. * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably with experience in company setup, business expansion, corporate finance or multi-entity environments. * Hands-on experience in setting up finance functions, establishing accounting processes, internal controls and financial reporting frameworks for new companies or business operations will be an added advantage. * Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, management accounting, taxation and statutory compliance. * Experience in cash flow management, business performance analysis and strategic financial planning. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Management and external stakeholders. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and ERP/accounting systems. * Independent, proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
