Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance Executive / Senior Finance Executive to join our Finance Department in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, supporting hospital revenue management, and maintaining compliance with financial policies and applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage daily finance and accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and bank reconciliation. Monitor and reconcile hospital revenue, patient billing, collections and outstanding accounts. Review and verify patient billing, insurance/TPA claims and payment transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. Follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate with relevant departments on billing and collection matters. Perform daily/monthly revenue reconciliation between hospital billing systems, payment records and accounting records. Prepare monthly financial reports, management reports and financial analysis for management review. Assist in month-end and year-end closing, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals and financial schedules. Monitor cash flow, expenses, payments and financial transactions to ensure proper financial control. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and financial planning. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax requirements and internal financial controls. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, insurance companies, TPAs and internal departments on finance-related matters. Provide support during internal and external audits and ensure timely submission of required financial documentation. Identify discrepancies in financial and billing records, investigate issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Support the Finance Manager/HOD in reviewing and improving finance processes, controls and reporting systems. Maintain proper documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial and patient-related information. Perform other finance-related duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned by the Management. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent will be an added advantage. Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting; candidates applying for Senior Finance Executive should have relevant experience in a senior capacity. Experience in hospital or healthcare finance will be an added advantage. Familiarity with patient billing, insurance/TPA claims, healthcare revenue cycle and medical billing processes is preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls. Experience in handling full sets of accounts will be an added advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and familiar with accounting software/ERP systems. Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. High level of integrity, accountability and professionalism. Willing to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and support operational requirements when necessary.
