Accounts Officer About Us We are an industry-leading engineering consultancy with a specialist focus on utility and renewable power solutions. About the Opportunity Whether you're building your accounting career or bringing several years of accounts experience, you'll become part of a collaborative team where your contribution is valued and your professional development is supported. Based in our modern offices in the heart of the Perth CBD, you'll receive ongoing mentoring and exposure to a broad range of accounts activities, giving you the opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of the commercial operations of a growing engineering consultancy. Depending on your skills and experience, your responsibilities may include: Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing Bank, supplier and customer reconciliations Preparing financial reports and supporting operational managers Credit control and debtor management Maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance requirements are met Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function Other ad hoc duties as required by the Finance Leadership Team What Can You Bring to the Team? You'll share our passion for delivering exceptional outcomes and continuously improving the way we work. We're looking for candidates who have: Experience in finance, accounting, payroll or administration roles Relevant tertiary qualifications or studies in Accounting, Finance or Business (where applicable) Experience using accounting software such as MYOB or similar ERP systems Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering quality outcomes Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (completed or in progress) will be highly regarded for more senior accounting opportunities.
