Are you an experienced procurement professional who enjoys building strong supplier partnerships, driving commercial value and influencing business outcomes? We're looking for a Category Specialist to join our Procurement team in Perth. In this role, you'll lead sourcing and category management activities across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Pacific operations, helping deliver cost-effective, sustainable and compliant procurement solutions that support business success. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working across multiple business functions to deliver strategic procurement outcomes. Responsibilities include, however, not limited to: Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract implementation. Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation and business efficiencies. Conduct market analysis and monitor industry trends, supplier capabilities and category developments. Manage supplier performance and support ongoing contract administration activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, supplier onboarding and contract management. Travel as required to support procurement activities and stakeholder engagement. You are a commercially minded procurement professional with strong negotiation skills and a track record of delivering value through strategic sourcing and category management. To be successful, you will have: A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Business, Commerce or a related discipline. Significant experience in procurement and category management. Experience managing one or more procurement category portfolios. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and drive positive supplier outcomes. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
