📍 Key Responsibilities Leading the Finance team. Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and month-end closing. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business planning. Monitor cash flow, ensuring timely payments, collections, and bank reconciliations. Work closely with the retail operations team to reconcile inventory, monitor stock movements, and investigate variances. Analyze operating expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budgets. Ensure compliance with SST/GST and other statutory and tax requirements. Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during annual audits. Maintain and optimize the ERP accounting system while improving reporting efficiency and accuracy. Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen accounting operations and internal controls. ✅ Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least 3–5 years of experience in full set accounting, preferably in the retail industry. Proficient in SQL accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Good understanding of inventory management, cost accounting, and retail transactions. Knowledge of SST/GST and Malaysian statutory compliance. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable, proactive, and willing to take on new responsibilities.
