What You’ll Do as an Engineering Product Specialist We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities: Provide Level 3 support for Treasury Management Systems, managing complex incidents, major incident resolution, security incidents, and on-call support in line with Incident Management processes. Develop, test, and implement system configurations, customizations, reporting solutions, and ATS script changes to enhance system stability, performance, and functionality. Collaborate with Treasury teams, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams to support business continuity, disaster recovery, failover activities, and operational stability. Analyze and validate vendor software releases, ensuring compliance with governance, security, service acceptance, operational readiness, and regulatory requirements. Drive engineering excellence through automation, process optimization, monitoring, observability, resilience, reliability improvements, and technical debt reduction initiatives. Maintain operational standards, documentation, and compliance with security, GDPR, audit, and IT governance policies while meeting key performance metrics such as MTTR, Change Failure Rate, and deployment lead times. What You’ll Bring Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular: 8-12+ years of experience supporting and enhancing Treasury Management Systems, with a strong understanding of Treasury operations, processes, and controls. Hands-on experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) or similar tools for Agile project delivery, incident management, and collaboration. Solid knowledge of Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and experience working with distributed, enterprise-scale systems. Proven understanding of high-availability architectures, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and operational resilience practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support complex Treasury system environments and critical business processes. FIS Integrity certification and ATS scripting experience are highly desirable, with the ability to develop, customize, and maintain Treasury application solutions. Does this sound like you? If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
