Technical / Subject Knowledge Preparation of technical specifications for Turbocompressors, Gas Turbines, Reciprocating Compressors, Expanders, Cryogenic Pumps and auxiliary equipment like oil systems for petrochemical/refinery/LNG plants under consideration of process conditions, clients/contractors requirements and API. Elaboration of technical evaluation of vendor offers as well as preparation of Technical Bid Tabulation. Detail Engineering with machine vendors and clients as well as in-house coordination with all related disciplines like civil, electrical, instrumentation, piping, safety, process engineering, purchasing dept, etc. Mechanical, functional, hydraulic and thermodynamic testing of compressors, gas turbines, seal system, oil systems, fuel gas system, air intake filters and cooling water system in acc. with API, ASME, clients/ contractors requirements Experience in basic thermodynamic calculations for the design of compressors and gas turbines based on technical regulations and API Standards Good knowledge of content and use of API Standards 614, 616, 617, 618, 692 Good knowledge regarding the anti-surge systems, vibration systems of compressors, dynamic simulation and control systems of gas turbine. Implementation of component requirement specifications for the seal gas systems, mechanical seal systems & lube oil systems, fuel gas system, air intake filters, water condensing systems Experience in LNG Turbomachinery with specific expertise in high-pressure refrigeration compressors gas turbine driven would be added advantage. Skill Sets & Soft Skills Able to specify requirements, tackle interdisciplinary issues. Ability to guide a team of engineers. Make decisions independently on engineering challenges and methods. Representing the department in meetings. Answers questions and coordinates work with other disciplines internally as well as at vendor's side. Applicant must be willing to travel internationally Should be good at communication with good leadership skills and should be able to handle a team of people efficiently. Provide managerial skills with leadership qualities and eager on continuous learning with problem solving attitude.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
