Eaton has opened a modern, state-of-the-art campus in Vantaa, Finland, dedicated to its critical power systems business. The campus brings together all business functions under one roof, including RDE, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service, and product marketing. Over the past two years, Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions headquarters and Center of excellence for data centers in Vantaa facility have expanded significantly, welcoming +150 new employees — and we’re continuing to grow. What You’ll Do Main tasks in this role is to act as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) in Finland and Nordic in working in large data center projects as UPS systems commissioning engineer. You provide a first class commissioning service as a part of the project and commissioning teams. You are professional electrician, good team player and you like technical challenges. You will work also in other Nordic countries as needed, travelling time to Nordic level is 25%. Responsible for overseeing Data center commissioning, on behalf of Eaton Field Service in local service unit & as well as within the cluster level, if required. Key Responsibilities Provide the highest level of technical expertise in all Data Center commissioning activities. Support and train Local Field Service Engineers in such activities. Onboard, coach and mentor new Field Service Engineers that join Eaton. Manage key account technical escalations providing support including site visits, to engineers and customers alike, drive escalations to conclusion and provide feedback where necessary. Work closely with Project Managers, advising on commissioning considerations and assisting on selection of suitable engineers, carry out site visits as required. Assist Project Management Organization with support of high profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required. Maintain direct links with business units (factories) and act as focal point for all technical exchange regarding the commissioning procedures and testing. Manage sub contractor teams. Perform Health & Safety audits of Field Service Engineer and subcontractors ensuring the high standards required by EATON are maintained. Qualifications Installer electrical background, suitable electrical education, B.sc. in Electrical engineering is advantage Skills Three phase electrical installation or maintenance experience. Good understanding of switch panels and power distribution.
