Overview We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer + React experience with strong experience in building scalable, production-grade backend systems using FastAPI and modern Python frameworks. In this role, you will design and develop high-performance APIs, work with distributed systems, and contribute to building reliable backend services that power data-driven and real-time applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI preferred) Build scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices Implement data processing and business logic in production environments Collaborate with frontend, data, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Integrate with databases, third-party APIs, and internal services Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practices Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in backend development with Python Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI (or Flask/Django with API focus) Experience building and maintaining REST APIs in production Solid understanding of: HTTP protocols API design principles Microservices architecture Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) Familiarity with asynchronous programming (async/await) Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows Nice to Have Experience with Docker and containerized applications Exposure to Kubernetes or cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) Experience working with data pipelines or ML-backed systems Knowledge of testing frameworks (pytest, unit/integration testing) What We’re Looking For Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ownership mindset and ability to work independently Experience working in distributed / remote teams Attention to detail and focus on code quality Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
