Job Summary Responsible for the design, development, and support of projects that requires up to 120 hours of effort. Continuously contributes to the success of the development team. Essential Functions Proficient with IS methodologies and processes (i.e. Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process). Contributes to the design application solution, which will support the current and future Information Systems strategy. Collects, documents, analyzes, verifies, communicates, and tests system solutions. Communicates and shares progress of development tasks with senior development team members. Approximately 80% of the time is spent analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting application solutions. The other 20% is spent assisting the senior development team with managing projects. Participates in technical requirements and design sessions. Continually builds competencies and enhances knowledge and awareness of Industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen the project and/or technical team and organizational knowledge. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Proficient knowledge of business area being supported. Experience managing small projects. Healthcare experience preferred. Basic level of technical knowledge of development, testing methodologies, programming languages, databases, and operating systems related to the area being supported. Ability to work independently and lead small projects with minimal supervision. Approximate percent of time required to travel: 10 Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Licenses/Certifications Project Management Professional and/or related current technical certifications preferred. Experience Minimum of 2 – 7 years experience in the Information Technology environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
