Develop and support RxCLAIM / pharmacy claims adjudication functionality and related business processes. Analyze and enhance complex claim processing logic, including business rules and system workflows. Develop and maintain integrations with downstream healthcare and PBM systems. Perform major enhancements and modifications to existing healthcare applications. Maintain, modernize, and improve existing AS/400 applications while developing new solutions. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and application issues. Investigate system defects, identify root causes, and implement effective technical solutions. Translate business requirements into technical designs and application changes. Document system flows, application functionality, interfaces, and business logic. Perform impact analysis for application changes and ensure changes do not negatively affect downstream processes. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support system/user acceptance testing as required. Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, QA teams, and healthcare/PBM stakeholders. Deliver high-quality, reliable code with minimal supervision. Take ownership of assigned development activities and meet project milestones and deadlines. Provide technical guidance and assume leadership responsibilities when needed. Required: 5+ years of hands-on experience with: SYNON / COOL 2E COBOL400 CL/400 and CLLE DB2/400 Strong hands-on experience with RxCLAIM. Ability and willingness to take on technical leadership responsibilities when required. Experience working with pharmacy claims adjudication and claims processing systems. Strong knowledge of Healthcare / Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) processes and applications. Experience analyzing and modifying complex claims processing logic and business rules. Experience supporting integrations between RxCLAIM/AS400 applications and downstream healthcare systems. Strong production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills. Ability to understand complex legacy applications and make enhancements with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams. Desired: Experience supporting large-scale healthcare or PBM platforms. Experience performing major enhancements to existing AS/400 healthcare applications. Strong understanding of legacy application architecture and modernization considerations.
