About Our Client The organization supports the U.S. Census Bureau’s Decennial Budget Integration Tool (DBiT) through a specialized government contract. It operates in the government services sector, providing data analytics, business intelligence, and database management solutions that support the decennial census process. Its work focuses on modernizing critical systems, maintaining operational continuity, and supporting large-scale federal programs. About the Opportunity The Data Analyst III supports the DBiT contract by applying expertise in data modeling, business intelligence, and database operations. This role produces reports and analytics, supports data platform migrations, and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure data models effectively meet business requirements. The position contributes to the modernization and reliability of critical census data systems while supporting Agile development and change management practices. Responsibilities • Produce business intelligence reports and analytics to support operational objectives. • Conduct end-to-end data modeling beyond the Cognos framework. • Support Oracle database schemas, views, and functions while assisting with migration to PostgreSQL. • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to design, refine, and validate data models. • Implement data model changes through established change management processes. • Document business requirements, processes, and related technical information in Confluence. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. • Prepare and maintain project documentation, status updates, and other required deliverables. • Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Eligibility for a Public Trust position in accordance with Department of Commerce and OPM requirements. • U.S. work authorization required. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics, advanced data modeling, and business intelligence. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies within government CI/CD environments. • Experience producing status reports, staffing plans, risk communications, and other project documentation. • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Pay Range and Compensation Package • Annual salary range: $120,000–$140,000 .
