Personnel Requirements · Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, PUR or a related field. · Minimum 1 year of experience in material control, inventory management, or sourcing (preferably in a manufacturing environment). · Good understanding of inventory control, supplier management, and purchasing processes. · Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. · Proficient in MS Office and ERP or inventory systems. · Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in following up on material status and delivery. · Able to work effectively across departments (Planning, Purchasing, Production, and Engineering). English: required - able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally Responsibilities · Monitor stock levels and request replenishment on time (sheet metal, packing materials, PPE, etc.). · Work with the Purchasing team to ensure timely material delivery. · Maintain accurate and complete inventory records. · Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, delivery, and terms. · Build good relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply. · Collaborate with Planning, Production, and Purchasing to align material needs. · Provide material status updates and reports when required. · Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all material movements are properly documented and reflected in the system. · Work with Purchasing to negotiate material prices, lead times, and terms when needed. Source materials for special or urgent projects, working closely with Engineering and Purchasing teams. Authorities · Request material replenishment and coordinate with Purchasing for procurement actions. · Communicate directly with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, pricing, and material status. · Highlight and escalate any material shortage, delay, or risk affecting production to relevant teams or management. · Recommend alternative materials or suppliers for special or urgent projects (subject to approval). · Access and update material-related data in the inventory system.
