Key Responsibilities Full Project Lifecycle Management : Direct and oversee end-to-end engineering project delivery in Pakistan—from site mobilization, scheduling, design review, execution, to final commissioning and handover—ensuring adherence to timeline, quality, and budget. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance : Secure and maintain all required local permits, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), environmental approvals, and statutory clearances in accordance with Pakistani laws and regulations. HSE & Site Security Protocols : Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. Partner with security teams to establish robust site security protocols and emergency response plans tailored to local security dynamics. Contract & FIDIC Management : Oversee the administration of project contracts (FIDIC-based). Manage variation orders (VOs), extension of time (EOT) claims, cost control, and project cash flow. Local Workforce & Subcontractor Management : Manage the procurement, onboarding, and performance of local Pakistani subcontractors and field labor. Manage labor relations and maintain positive engagement with local communities. Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, local government authorities, utility companies, and international/joint-venture partners. Job Requirements Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Professional License : Active registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is MANDATORY . PMP certification is highly desirable. Work Experience : Minimum 8 years of engineering project management experience, with at least 3+ years of hands-on site management experience within Pakistan. Prior experience in CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) projects, power/energy, infrastructure, or industrial construction is preferred. Language & Technical Skills : Professional fluency in English (written & spoken); fluency in Urdu is a strong advantage . Deep familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions and proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and Auto CAD. Core Competencies : Exceptional cross-cultural leadership, crisis management ability, stakeholder negotiation skills, and strong adaptability to site environments in Pakistan.
