Clojure Full Stack Engineer at BairesDev In this role, you'll own features end-to-end for a retail AI outfitting platform, from PostgreSQL schema design through Clojure API implementation to the ClojureScript review UIs colleagues use daily. Working within a team of Clojure engineers, you'll build backend services that integrate with LLM APIs, orchestrate multi-step AI operations, and power semantic search across massive product catalogs. What You'll Do: - Own features end-to-end, from database schema design through backend implementation to frontend review UIs. - Build backend services that integrate with LLM APIs to support AI-driven product features. - Work with workflow orchestration tools to coordinate multi-step AI operations. - Contribute to search and retrieval pipelines powering semantic search across the product catalog. - Architect solutions and make technical decisions independently within a fast-moving team. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
