Job Description Role Summary We’re looking for a React Native Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. At our company, engineers are not just coders — they are builders, problem-solvers, and collaborators who care deeply about the impact of their work. You’ll play a key role in shaping our mobile experience, building scalable and elegant interfaces that thousands of users depend on daily to manage their finances. This role goes beyond writing UI code: you’ll work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to ship features quickly (we release weekly), ensure our app is performant and reliable, and integrate the latest tools and frameworks. You’ll also have the opportunity to leverage AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) to accelerate development and improve quality. What you’ll do Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and implement features in our React Native mobile app Build clean, efficient, and reusable UI components with React Native (and React.js when needed) Ensure the mobile app is performant, scalable, and accessible across iOS and Android devices Write maintainable, testable code following best practices and coding standards Debug and resolve issues, improving app stability and user experience Propose and implement new tools, frameworks, or PoCs to keep the stack modern and efficient Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development and improve code quality Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing Stay up to date with mobile development trends and user expectation What we’re looking for 4+ years of professional experience in front-end or mobile development Strong technical ability with React Native, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript Experience working with RN-CLI (we aren’t using Expo) Deep understanding of mobile performance, the JS thread, and code optimization techniques Experience building reusable, testable modules and components Familiarity with design systems, user interface models, layout aesthetics, accessibility, and mobile-first UX principles Strong knowledge of industry-standard best practices, development lifecycles, and Agile/SCRUM Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience with iOS or Android native development is a plus Experience working with start-ups

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
