Seeking a Backend Developer to build scalable, high-performance applications that power modern digital products. This role requires strong expertise in designing APIs, developing distributed systems, optimizing databases, and building secure, reliable backend services that can scale with business growth. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services. Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Design efficient database schemas and optimize query performance. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features. Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. Continuously improve system architecture and development processes. Required Skills Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or C# . Experience with Spring Boot, Express.js, FastAPI, Django, .NET Core , or similar backend frameworks. Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture. Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or DynamoDB. Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Understanding of caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached. Experience with Git and modern development workflows. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Good to Have Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems. Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch. Experience building high-traffic, large-scale applications. Exposure to observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3–8 years of experience in backend software development.
