Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing and nurturing relationships with key railway division stakeholders, primarily based in Mysore in a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The role includes managing client accounts, understanding operational requirements, coordinating staffing needs, and ensuring timely delivery of services. The Account Manager will monitor performance metrics, prepare reports, handle queries, and resolve issues to maintain client satisfaction and contract compliance. Daily tasks involve collaborating with internal teams, tracking account activities, updating documentation, and supporting billing and invoicing processes. The individual will also contribute to process improvements, risk identification, and adherence to relevant policies and regulations. Qualifications Strong account management and client relationship skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and service expectations. Competence in coordination, scheduling, and basic project or operations management within a service-oriented environment. Solid communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional correspondence. Proficiency with common office software (such as spreadsheets, word processing, and email tools) and comfort working with reporting or tracking systems. Ability to analyze basic data, prepare summaries, and support decision-making through clear, structured reports. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and compliance. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and follow through on action plans. Prior experience in staffing, railway operations, logistics, or a related field is beneficial. Relevant diploma or degree in business, commerce, management, or a comparable discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
