Join us and shape how the world is powered. Role Synopsis bp designs, builds, and operate platform products, services and underpinning tools stacks to support the developers in being more productive. These include CICD and Repo technology and the closely coupled ecosystem of technology so that we can deliver safe, compliant, and reliable digital products at scale with reduced friction. These engineers are tasked with helping teams adopt these modern ways of working and providing the tools and services they need to support them in this endeavor, reducing the cognitive load as much as possible. As a DevOps Engineer supporting our CICD process, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of software development and deployment pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to implement and maintain robust CI/CD processes, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems which enable modern developer tooling to support secure, scalable, high‑quality digital delivery. What You’ll Do Partner with vendors, guide platform selection, and contribute thought leadership to shape technology roadmaps. Ensure operational integrity by adhering to architectural, security, and compliance standards while mentoring and connecting teams across the organization. Automate infrastructure and deployments, build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud environments, and implement monitoring and alerting for system reliability. Manage build and artifact workflows and lead deployment orchestration Align DevOps tools and practices with business needs to enable fast, consistent, high‑quality delivery. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Extensive experience in a relevant technology specialization. Strong understanding of modern service delivery (SRE, ITIL, product‑based models). Deep expertise in AWS across compute, networking, storage, databases, security, and load balancing. Proven experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef). Hands‑on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab). Experience with packaging and dependency management tools (NuGet). Experience with artifact storage and promotion tools (JFrog Artifactory). Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, ELK). Strong scripting/programming skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Java). Solid understanding of cloud security controls, including NSGs, firewalls, and IAM. Desirable Criteria Openlink Endur experience PowerShell scripting for automation, environment, and pipeline tasks Development experience in .Net (C#), Java, Python. Strong relational database skills, especially Oracle or MS SQL Server Demonstrated ability to design, implement, maintain, and document technical solutions collaboratively. Proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio, VS Code Experience with Large Language Models, including alignment, fine‑tuning, and application deployment. Relevant certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert). Membership in professional bodies (DevOps Institute, ACM) demonstrating commitment to continuous learning. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
