Job description: *Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice *minimum 2 years of experience*. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials. * Take good dental radiographs intra-oral x-rays. * Knowledgeable taking iTero scan, Digital impressions, Experienced making temporary crowns/bridges. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plan notes. * Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment options. * Sterilize dental instruments and ensure compliance with safety regulations. * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office. * Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a high standard of care. *Skills* * Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures. * Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus. * Experience with Dentrix software for patient management is preferred. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Ability to function effectively as a dental receptionist when needed. * Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members and work independently.
