*Job Summary* We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Farm Manager to lead the daily operations of a thriving agricultural enterprise. In this role, you will oversee crop production, manage farm staff, ensure equipment functionality, and maintain optimal farm conditions. Your leadership will drive productivity, uphold safety standards, and promote sustainable farming practices. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about agriculture and eager to make a tangible impact on farm success. *Responsibilities* * Supervise daily farm activities including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and crop maintenance to maximize yield and quality. * Oversee the operation and maintenance of farm machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. * Manage irrigation systems to provide adequate water supply while conserving resources and adhering to environmental standards. * Coordinate with team members to schedule tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. * Conduct regular inspections of the farm environment, including soil health, plant health, and infrastructure integrity. * Maintain detailed records of farm activities, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory supplies. * Implement sustainable farming practices that promote soil health, water conservation, and crop productivity. * Oversee the activities of clearing the fields * Supervise 11-15 people * Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings * Manage overall operation of farm * Purchase machinery, livestock, seed, feed and other supplies * Determine the amount and kinds of crops to be grown and livestock to be raised * Establish marketing programs * Maintain financial and production records * Perform general farm duties * Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers *Requirements* * Proven experience in farm management or agricultural operations with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. * Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment operation. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment such as tractors or loaders. * Familiarity with irrigation systems and basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to farming tasks. * Strong maintenance skills to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine repairs on equipment. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and task scheduling. * Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to stand for extended periods. *Languages* English *Education* * Secondary (high) school graduation certificate *Experience* 2 years to less than 3 years Join us as a Farm Manager and lead with energy!
