*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's standards and delights our customers. *Duties* * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established guidelines. * Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. * Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. * Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. * Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. * Knowledge of food handling, food safety practices, and sanitation standards. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. * A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is highly valued. * Valid Permit to Work and is in the Canada Join us in delivering exceptional dining experiences through your culinary skills!
