delivery driver

We are seeking reliable and experienced Warehouse/Delivery Personnel to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse and delivery vehicles. This is a physical role that requires lifting (50 lbs or more)and the operation of various equipment such as Pallet Jack and equipment carts. in addition, you would have responsibilities that include product delivery and on-site sales completion. Duties:-Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents-Unload materials from trucks and assign them to designated areas-Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly manner-Prepare materials for shipment by packing, labeling, and securing them-Load materials onto vans-Fill out delivery vehicle pre-trip forms-Do local and out of town deliveries-Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning-collaborate with team members to fulfill orders in a timely manner-Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment-Complete on-site sales with walk in customers using POS and computer equipment Qualifications:-Class 5 Driver's License Required-Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs or more) on a regular basis-Knowledge of software applications such as Google Suite and Quickbooks an asset-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills_Ability to work independantly or as part of a team-Previous experience in the Restaurant/Hospitality and Cleaning Industries an asset...will train-Willing /able to work 12 hour days on occasion-Organizational skills-Whimis 2015 and TDG safety courses an asset...will train Location Yorkton , SK Work location On site Salary $ 20.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Part time leading to full time Starts as soon as possible Source SaskJobs #1537718 Various locations Yorkton, SK
