We specialize in LTL, FTL, Flat deck and Container transport. We are a authorized carrier with Port Metro Vancouver, Canada Customs Bonded carrier and operate out of a 175,000 sq. ft CBSA Sufferance Bonded warehouse. We currently have an opening for a logistics coordinator. The logistic coordinator is to provide administrative support in warehouse & transportation operations. Verify and keep records on Inbound and Outbound shipment and provide customers with frequent updates. *Responsibilities and Duties* * Obtain quotes from various carriers and evaluate pricing/quotes. * Negotiate pricing with carriers and in addition source for new potential carriers. * Work with internal software to update shipment details. * Work with transport driver to ensure time and trips are being used efficiently. * Establish relationships with 3PL partners and evaluates alternatives to minimize distribution costs. * Prepare client's accurate and timely billing. * Tracing and tracking of shipments to final destination. *Qualifications and Skills* * Minimum 1-year work experience in transportation or logistics. * Strong communication skills. * Advanced knowledge of computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Ability to multi-task and work efficiently. * Keen attention to detail. * Reliable and punctual. * A team player but also capable of working independently. * Fluent English. *Benefits* Our employee?s can opt to sign up for our comprehensive extended health benefits package (after a 3-month probationary period).
