*Job Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team and drive excellence in freight transportation. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional service while adhering to all regulatory requirements. *Duties* * Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations * Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to maintain optimal performance * Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs for compliance and reporting purposes * Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime * Coordinate with dispatchers to plan efficient routes and delivery schedules, optimizing time and fuel efficiency * Support warehouse operations by operating forklifts and other equipment as needed for freight movement *Experience* * Valid Class 1 commercial driver?s license (CDL) with a clean driving record * Proven experience in commercial trucking, freight delivery, or related logistics roles * Skilled in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling with relevant certifications preferred * Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy vehicle operation and freight handling * Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and compliance * Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and dispatchers Join us as a vital part of our transportation team!
