The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a medical or healthcare environment and is confident supporting physicians, managing patient communications, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records. What We're Looking For * *Previous Medical Office Assistant or comparable medical clinic experience is required* * Strong understanding of medical office procedures and patient confidentiality * Experience working with an *electronic medical record (EMR)* system * Knowledge of medical terminology * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Professional, warm, and confident when interacting with patients * Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail * Ability to manage multiple physicians, priorities, appointments, and administrative tasks * Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team * Reliable, proactive, and able to recognize what needs to be done without constant direction * Strong computer and administrative skills * *Mandarin fluency is an asset but is not required* Responsibilities As a Medical Office Assistant at RMEDY, you will be an important part of both the patient experience and the day-to-day operation of the medical office. Responsibilities include: * Welcoming and assisting patients in person, by phone, and electronically * Scheduling, confirming, and coordinating patient appointments * Managing physician schedules and supporting efficient patient flow * Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records within the EMR * Preparing patient charts and ensuring required documentation is available for appointments * Supporting physicians and other healthcare providers with administrative and basic clinical duties * Processing incoming and outgoing referrals, reports, requisitions, and correspondence * Scanning, uploading, faxing, and filing medical documents * Communicating with laboratories, pharmacies, specialists, and other healthcare providers when required * Following up with patients regarding appointments, forms, testing, and other clinic requirements * Maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times * Assisting with general clinic administration and ensuring the medical office remains organized and efficient * Helping deliver the elevated level of service expected within an executive and preventative healthcare environment The Right Person We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their role.
