As our business grows, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our finance function. *Role Overview* The Bookkeeper will manage the day-to-day financial records of the company, with a primary focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general bookkeeping. This role works closely with the operations and logistics teams and reports directly to company leadership. *Key Responsibilities* * Process and manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-up on outstanding balances * Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment scheduling * Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions on a regular basis * Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries * Assist with month-end and year-end close processes * Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review * Support external accountants during audit or tax preparation periods * Manage filing and organization of financial documents, both digital and physical * Assist with GST/HST remittances and other regulatory filings as required *Qualifications* * Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a small to mid-sized business environment * Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes * Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) * Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities * Clear and professional communication skills * Experience in a trading, export, or commodity-based business is an asset Pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Work Location: In person Location Vancouver , BC Work location On site Salary $ 18.50 to $ 23.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10241941987 Various locations Vancouver, BC
