*Job description* Steamworks Brewery is currently hiring a Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our brewery?s warehouse in Burnaby. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving, scheduling deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, supporting co-packing operations, and ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for an organized and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing multiple priorities, and can effectively lead a team while also working independently. *Responsibilities:* * Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the warehouse * Schedule, coordinate, and prioritize deliveries with warehouses, vendors, customers, and transportation partners * Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure products and materials are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently * Lead, train, coach, and support Warehouse Assistants and Team Leads * Train and coach Co-packer Leads and Co-packers * Work closely with the Lead Driver and Delivery Drivers to improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency * Ensure co-packing orders are completed accurately and within required timelines * Maintain accurate inventory levels for Steamworks and customer products * Work with the Supply Chain Coordinator to maintain appropriate minimum inventory levels * Work closely with Production Leads and Supervisors to meet production and logistical requirements * Receive and process orders in the ERP system (Brutos) * Monitor warehouse workflow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and processes * Distribute and maintain inventories of materials and supplies on a daily basis * Ensure warehouse activities are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment * Assist with facility maintenance and other operational requirements as needed * Address day-to-day operational issues and provide timely solutions * Perform other warehouse and operational duties as required *Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:* * Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks * Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and follow-through * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Computer proficient and comfortable learning and using ERP systems * Ability to assess existing processes and identify opportunities for greater efficiency * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and internal departments * Strong work ethic and a hands-on approach to warehouse operations * Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team *Education & Experience:* * 3+ years of recent progressive experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or operations supervisory/management role * Previous experience leading and supervising a team in a warehouse or production environment * Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, and delivery coordination * Experience working with an ERP or warehouse management system * Brewery or beverage industry experience and knowledge of the brewing process is considered an asset * Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field is considered an asset * Forklift certification and experience is required *Why Work at Steamworks?* * Be part of a passionate, fun, and inclusive team that loves craft beer as much as you do * Work for a company that values growth, development, Location Burnaby , BC Work location On site Salary $ 60,000 to $ 70,000 YEAR annually Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10239484648 Various locations Burnaby, BC
