Senior Oracle PBCS Specialist Location: Toronto, ON 100% Remote Contract: 3 Months, with potential extension Pay Rate: $60/hr Work Arrangement: Fully Remote Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Oracle Budgeting and Planning (PBCS) Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Oracle PBCS, Oracle EPM Cloud, Hyperion Planning, and Essbase . The successful candidate will support enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and period-close processes . This role will work closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, Solution Architects, and Project Managers to enhance existing financial systems, troubleshoot issues, and deliver technical and functional solutions. Key Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle PBCS, Oracle EPM Cloud, Hyperion Planning, and Essbase . Configure Oracle PBCS/EPM applications based on business and financial requirements. Develop and maintain Business Rules, Essbase scripts, calculations, and planning solutions . Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, and period-close processes. Develop test scenarios, test scripts, and support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) . Support and troubleshoot existing PBCS/Hyperion applications and integrations. Participate in Hyperion Planning/Essbase to Oracle EPM Cloud PBCS upgrades and migrations . Work with Finance, Accounting, IT, Solution Architects, and Project Managers to define and implement appropriate solutions. Support data integrations using technologies such as FDMEE, DRM, ODI, and other EPM integration tools . Provide technical and functional guidance to clients and project teams. Mentor and coach junior team members. Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and train-the-trainer/end-user training . Identify opportunities to improve system performance, processes, automation, and overall application stability. Act as a trusted advisor to the client on planning, budgeting, and forecasting best practices . Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and/or Oracle EPM Cloud PBCS . Strong experience with Oracle Essbase . Expert-level experience developing Essbase Business Rules and Calculation Scripts . Experience with Hyperion Planning 11.2.x . Experience with at least 2 Oracle Hyperion/PBCS implementations .
