Job Description Job Description Role Overview We are seeking a Commercial Insurance Producer to join our brokerage team in Toronto. This role is ideal for a professional with 5 + years of experience and proven success in commercial lines and who thrives on developing new business, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored risk management solutions. The successful candidate will leverage their strong industry network, product expertise, and consultative approach to drive portfolio growth and contribute to the brokerage's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and secure new commercial accounts through networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting. Client Advisory: Conduct in-depth risk assessments and provide customized insurance and risk management solutions. Account Management: Oversee the servicing of mid-to-large commercial accounts, ensuring high retention and client satisfaction. Negotiation: Collaborate with underwriters to secure competitive coverage terms and pricing. Market Expertise: Stay ahead of market trends, underwriting guidelines, and emerging risks impacting commercial clients. Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with insurers, clients, and centers of influence. Mentorship & Leadership: Support junior commercial account executives and producers through knowledge sharing and guidance. Compliance: Ensure all activities meet RIBO and brokerage standards. Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of commercial insurance sales and account management experience. RIBO license (in good standing); CAIB or CIP designation preferred. Strong network of business contacts in the GTA. Deep knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g., property, liability, auto, specialty risks). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen. Experience with broker management systems (e.g., Epic, Power Broker) and Microsoft Office. \nCompany Description Elkove is an independent insurance brokerage- based in downtown Toronto - licensed in multiple provinces across Canada.
