Send your resume to sandhillssupervisor@ eabchildcare.com Our Educators work collaboratively with other team members to implement our programs for the children in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, How Does Learning Happen?, Forest and Nature School Canada manual, and the CECE Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. -Ideally, you have completed an Early Childhood Education diploma program and be registered with College of Early Childhood Educators. -You have awareness of children?s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development and the importance of building upon the four foundations of learning. You have experience working with children in a play based, emergent curriculum setting. - You must be able to support children with daily routines (washroom, dressing, meals, etc) and have the ability to support children with diverse needs. - Having an awareness of research and practice supporting the importance of Outdoor and Forest and Nature School curriculum is an asset. You have the ability to spend long length of time outdoors in all weather conditions. - You have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be able to bend, kneel, sit on the floor with children, lift and carry young children, or other program supplies. You have up-to-date Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) certification, successful completion of Vulnerable Police Records Check within the last 3 months, and up-to-date immunizations including a TB test. (If you do not currently have your First Aid and CPR or a vulnerable sector check we offer financial support to obtain them).
