*Overview* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Program Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role requires effective communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and community members. Location: Satellites of West Ferris Day Nursery Hours of Operation: Shift Between 7:00 am ? 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, *Potential for split shift* Wage: Competitive wage, plus WEG + Vacation Pay *Qualifications:* * Current VSC * Current Standard First Aid & Infant/Child CPR - WSIB Approved * Valid Ontario driver's license and daily access to a reliable vehicle * Respect of confidentiality * Working knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act * Working knowledge of How Does Learning Happen document * Experience working in a child care setting is considered an asset *Duties (but not limited to):* * Demonstrate continuous ethical and professional behaviour * Demonstrate continuous Professional Learning * Demonstrate regular attendance * Implement HDLH and support planning * Implement Ministry guidelines under the CCEY act * Maintain profiles and protocols for children in group * Demonstrate flexibility, dependability and ability to work as a team member * Ensure policies and procedures of the West Ferris Day Nursery are adhered to * Promote health, safety and well-being of all children * Support positive and responsive relationships with families and children Applicants must submit a current resume, with a cover letter indicating how her/his qualifications meet the requirements listed above, as week as, why they are interested in this job opportunity.
