Famoso Pizzeria is looking for a reliable and passionate Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing high-quality pizzas and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. You will work alongside a fast-paced team to ensure every pizza meets Famoso's quality standards. Responsibilities * Prepare and stretch pizza dough according to Famoso recipes and standards. * Assemble pizzas with the correct ingredients and portions. * Operate the pizza oven safely and efficiently. * Ensure all food is prepared and presented consistently. * Prepare sauces, toppings, and other ingredients for daily service. * Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control. * Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation throughout each shift. * Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices. * Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries. * Support the kitchen team with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties. * Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations. * Communicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Qualifications * Previous experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or kitchen team member is preferred but not required. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Strong attention to detail and food quality. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs). * Reliable, punctual, and a team player. * Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Food Safety certification is an asset.
