Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder with expertise in welding 20-gauge stainless steel . The ideal candidate will be able to produce clean, high-quality welds on thin-gauge stainless steel components while maintaining tight tolerances and minimizing distortion. Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on 20-gauge stainless steel and other thin-gauge materials. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. Fit, tack, and weld stainless steel components to specification. Ensure welds are clean, smooth, and meet quality standards. Inspect finished welds for defects and perform touch-ups as required. Operate grinders, polishers, and other fabrication equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of TIG welding experience , preferably with thin-gauge stainless steel. Strong experience welding 20-gauge stainless steel with minimal burn-through and distortion. Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings. Experience with fitting and fabrication is an asset. Knowledge of welding safety practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Requirements Proficient in TIG welding stainless steel. Experience welding material from 20 gauge and up. Ability to pass a practical TIG welding test . Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Legally authorized to work in Canada.
