*About Magnum* Magnum Nutraceuticals is a Canadian sports nutrition and supplement brand, sold through specialty retail and e-commerce across North America. Following its acquisition in early 2026, Magnum is rebuilding and scaling with a lean, fast-moving team ? launching new products, deepening key retail partnerships, and repositioning the brand for its next growth phase. It's a hands-on environment where ideas move quickly from concept to shelf. *Job Overview* The Marketing Director is responsible for shaping Magnum Nutraceuticals' brand and marketing strategy across retail, trade, and experiential channels, and for bringing fresh, scrappy, forward-thinking ideas to the table. This role combines big-picture vision with hands-on execution ? generating creative concepts and translating them directly into campaigns, content, and materials, without waiting on outside resources to bring them to life. The Marketing Director works closely with the Digital Marketing Director, partnering on ideation, execution, and continuous improvement of Magnum's digital and social presence, while leading brand strategy, trade/consumer events, retail partner marketing, and product launch campaigns more broadly. Reporting to the CEO and working alongside a lean cross-functional team, this is a builder's role for someone who wants to shape a growing brand and is motivated to prove what they can do with real ownership. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*: _*Brand & Marketing Strategy*_ * Develop and lead Magnum's overall marketing strategy across retail, trade, and experiential channels. * Bring fresh, scrappy, on-brand campaign concepts and creative ideas that differentiate Magnum in a competitive category ? this role is expected to be a consistent source of new thinking, not just execution. * Translate business and product priorities (new launches, retail partnerships, seasonal campaigns) into integrated marketing plans. * Stay ahead of social media trends, platform shifts, and category conversation to keep Magnum culturally relevant. _*Digital, Social & Content (in partnership with the Digital Marketing Director)*_ * Partner closely with the Digital Marketing Director to ideate, execute, and continuously improve Magnum's social media and digital marketing presence. * Contribute fresh creative concepts and campaign ideas for digital and social, while the Digital Marketing Director owns day-to-day digital execution. * Identify and implement AI tools and workflows that make content production and campaign execution faster and more efficient. * Develop and edit creative assets and presentations directly ? decks, social content, campaign visuals ? without being dependent on outside design resources to move quickly. _*Trade, Retail & Experiential*_ * Plan and execute trade and consumer-facing events, activations, and experiential marketing. * Develop retail partner marketing programs, in-store activations, and co-marketing initiatives to support Magnum's retail partnerships. * Support product launches with go-to-market marketing plans spanning digital, retail, and trade. _*Team, Budget & Operations*_ * Manage the marketing budget and prioritize spend across channels for maximum impact. * Work in close partnership with the Digital Marketing Director, and coordinate with sales, product development, and legal to ensure marketing initiatives align with business priorities and regulatory requirements. * Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and freelance support as needed. * Report on campaign performance and marketing ROI to the CEO. Other projects and initiatives as assigned by Management. *REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:* * 3?6 years of progressive marketing experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, ideally spanning digital, social, retail, and event/experiential marketing. * A strong creative and strategic sense, with a track record of generating fresh, scrappy ideas that translate into real campaigns ?
