*Job Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Landoll/Float Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating specialized trailers, known as Landolls, and float equipment/heavy machinery, oversized loads, and freight across various locations. Your expertise in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation will ensure efficient deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to excellence and safety in all transportation activities. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate Landoll trailers to float equipment and oversized freight over short and long distances. * Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. * Secure loads properly using appropriate tie-downs, straps/chains, and safety devices to prevent shifting or damage during transit. * Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure on time deliveries and pick ups are met * Maintain accurate logs, run sheets and delivery documentation. * Adhere strictly to all federal, provincial, and local transportation regulations, including hours of service rules. *Requirements* * Proven experience operating Landoll trailers or similar flatbed/float equipment with a strong safety record. * Valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements * Demonstrated proficiency in heavy equipment operation * Ability to perform detailed inspections and identify mechanical issues promptly. * Knowledge of freight handling procedures, securing loads effectively for safe transport. * Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, dispatchers, and clients. * Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb onto trailers, and perform manual tasks as required.
