*Company Overview* Richmond Pallet Picker Corporation has been a leader in pallets manufacturing and recycling since 2007, based in Delta. We are dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service, fostering a dynamic and growth-oriented environment for our team members. *Job Summary* The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining sales of the Company?s lumber and pallet products to new and existing customers. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, visiting customers, understanding customer needs, preparing quotations, following up on orders, and building long-term business relationships. The Sales Representative is expected to travel to meet customers, promote the Company?s products and services, and work closely with production, shipping, and management to ensure customer requirements are understood and fulfilled. This position is compensated through a base salary plus commission, subject to the Company?s compensation plan and applicable employment agreement. *Duties* * Develop sales opportunities for lumber, pallets, and related products with new and existing customers. * Visit customers at their business locations to introduce products, understand needs, and maintain relationships. * Identify potential customers through market research, referrals, cold calls, site visits, and follow-up communication. * Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, specifications, delivery timing, and order status. * Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and product information to customers. * Follow up with customers to secure orders and maintain repeat business. * Coordinate with production and shipping teams to confirm product specifications, availability, lead times, and delivery arrangements. * Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, sales activities, quotations, orders, and follow-ups. * Monitor customer satisfaction and assist in resolving sales, product, or delivery-related concerns. * Report sales progress, customer feedback, market conditions, and business opportunities to management. * Meet sales targets and performance expectations established by management. * Follow all company policies, including pricing, customer communication, expense reporting, attendance, and conduct rules. *Skills* * Multilingual abilities are highly valued to connect with diverse customer groups * Previous sales experience is preferred, especially in lumber, pallets, packaging, manufacturing, construction supply, logistics, or related industries. * Knowledge of lumber products, pallet sizes, pallet repair, custom pallets, or material handling needs is an asset. * Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. * Ability to build and maintain relationships with business customers. * Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. * Ability to understand customer specifications, pricing information, and production requirements. * Valid driver?s licence and ability to travel to customer locations as required. * Reliable, professional, and results-oriented. * Basic computer skills for email, quotations, records, and reporting.
