Maintenance manager is to lead the initiatives of corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance. To ensure that all the company assets are readily available and deliver quality results in an economically, productive, reliable and safe fashion. As well as to assist in the design, selection, installation and commissioning of new equipment and processes. To establish the performance of the maintenance activities, communicate effectively across functions and provide visibility to the maintenance functions to upper management by utilizing accurate report with proper associated metrics. May be required to do other work within his/her capacity under the director of the plant management team.Tasks:Review and effect any necessary actions regarding the following Food Safety and Quality documentsManage: work orders, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and temporary repairsOversees facility maintenance such as air and water filter replacements including all packaging equipment make-up air filtersOversee the monitoring and documentation of the facility equipment related to temperature controlOversee the monitoring and documentation of Boiler additives and de-scaling chemicalsParticipate in monthly plant and equipment inspectionsEnsure that new equipment or modified existing equipment is included in the maintenance programCorrective Actions Requests for maintenance: internal audits, third party auditsMonitor maintenance such as filter replacements for air and water facilities and compressed air at packagingExamine monitoring and documentation of finished products warehouse temperatures if applicableExamine monitoring and documentation of chemicals for boilers and water treatment for chemicals for water treatment and boilersReview and enforce the GMPs with their employeesParticipate or provide support to HACCP teamReview food safety non-conformances from plant inspections and provide corrective actionsPromotes our SQF program for food safety and quality to all employees throughout the organizationAlternate to the Maintenance Manager is the Maintenance SupervisorResponsible for the implementation and maintenance of the 5S program within the maintenance function.Acting as the technical resource to address and resolve any maintenance related inquiries and problems.Responsible for budgeting, cost control, maintenance related operational efficiency, cost optimization, supporting Capital Expenditure (Capex), Operational Expenditure (Opex) for the company maintenance activities and all the reporting associated with the department?s costs.Rewards:Salaried position with quarterly incentive planSalary to be negotiatedThree weeks vacation per year to start5 sick days per calendar yearComprehensive benefit Refer-a-friend bonusStaff salesPride in being part of a team that produces products that you will see in supermarkets across Canada for an internationally recognized company.Working Conditions:Job has daily exposure to a food processing environment which includes dampness and cold.
