Key Responsibilities: Maintain and monitor production infrastructure and services (Linux, AWS, etc.) Manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) Automate infrastructure with tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar Ensure timely resolution of incidents and root cause analysis Implement and monitor system performance metrics and alerts (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) Perform regular system upgrades, patching, and backups Work in rotational shifts to provide 24/7 support for critical systems. Participate in infrastructure capacity planning and cost optimization. Follow best practices for security, high availability, and disaster recovery. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or System Administration roles. Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Working knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) Experience in writing shell/Python scripts for automation. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices. Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. Basic understanding of network concepts (DNS, Load Balancer, VPN, etc.) Ability to work in rotational shifts including weekends and night shifts. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
