We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, ensuring that all desktop systems operate efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, peripherals, and software applications. Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues in a timely manner. Assist with the setup and deployment of new desktops and laptops. Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation of support activities. Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance service delivery and improve processes. Provide training and support to users on various applications and tools. Skills and Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in desktop support or a related field. Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS environments. Strong understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
